IntroductionIn Mexico, as in other Latin American countries,access to books is in general hampered by socio-economic problems: the high cost of production,distribution, promotion and advertising.There are two phenomena speci c to psycho-Īnalysis texts, however: rst, most books writtenby renowned Mexican psychoanalysts are pub-lished by university presses, and often remainclassi ed as internal publications, which meansthat they are promoted almost exclusively throughthe personal efforts of the author or psycho-analytical group responsible, and never reachbookstores. It is located in a building on the Carrer Viladomat and has a single room and a storage area for keeping equipment. The Sant Antoni neighbourhood's popular and traditional culture associations have been sharing the Racó de Cultura de Sant Antoni since 2012.
